ABOUT HEART-LED PUBLISHING

Heart-Led Publishing was born from a purposeful and prolific journey. Its founder, Belinda Tobin, was challenged by her mentor to create 15 heart-led projects within a single year. Embracing this challenge, Belinda not only met the goal but also discovered a wellspring of insights and inspiration that transformed her understanding of herself and the world around her. Each project she completed fueled deeper personal growth and reinforced her belief in the power of creative expression.

Like many writers, Belinda initially sought to share her work through traditional publishing avenues. However, she soon realized that instead of seeking approval from others to earn a seat at the “published author” table, she could build her own. Refusing to wait for others to discover her, Belinda took a bold step to present the work through which she had discovered herself. With unwavering belief in her creations, she established Heart-Led Publishing as a platform to showcase her vision and share it with the world.

Today, Heart-Led Publishing has grown from a single idea to offer three distinct imprints:

  1. Understanding Press: Committed to delivering power through knowledge, this imprint seeks to enlighten readers by exploring complex topics with clarity and compassion. The Understanding Series is the first offering from Understanding Press, comprising short, sharp, stimulating discussions about pressing societal issues.
  2. Bel House Books: Specialising in transformative fiction, Bel House Books provide stories that have shaped the author in their creation and offer the reader a time for personal reflection and growth. They are stories with heart and hope.
  3. Curiosity: Dedicated to the weird and the wonderful, Curiosity embraces the unconventional, celebrating the beauty in what makes us different. Stories are given the freedom to be expressed in a form that is true to them, rather than being smashed into traditional formats.
